Classic Bridal Shower Game: Mix and Match

Dressing up for the great day is an event paramount in the mind of any bride who wants to look her best for her wedding. Dressing up can be fun and often takes days of planning. If you are hosting an all women’s shower party one of the most interesting games to play is mix and match. If you want to host mix and match you can ask the guests you have invited to carry additional clothes like a skirt, shorts, hair pins, handkerchief, bikini, skimpy night dresses etc. Now divide your guests into four or more groups. Each group is required to select a bride from among themselves. The group next helps the bride they have selected dress up with the items they are either carrying or wearing.

One of the guests can remove her shoes and give it to the bride to wear , another can perch a dainty hat on her head or dress her up in an outrageous nightgown. After dressing up the bride the concerned group of women can add accessories like earrings, handbags, bracelets etc. Now let the newly dressed brides walk on the ramp in their new outfits. This game is a photographer’s delight as cameras go clicking away. It also raises lots of laughs at the humorous sight each bride presents. Giggles can be heard all around making for a fun filled evening. Once the so called brides have walked the ramp ask the real bride to select a winner.
